Boy, this couldn't be more true. There's a few on here that get REAL old quick.
I agree. Everyone seems to be a smartass these days. It get's old fast.

Don't anticipate much for storms tomorrow, warmfront should stay south of the state keeping the best threats in north/central Missouri. I 80 and south will see some thunderstorms but they shouldn't be severe, the rest of Iowa just spring rain.
The weather system to watch is this weekend, Saturday and Sunday look like they could have some very intense storms.
Its no different than any other topic. There is always 1 a-hole that needs to get in a smart-azz comment.
Unfortunately....its become a CF trait.
Its no wonder the most knowledgeable posters just read and don't post much anymore.
Because anyone can go on weather sites and gain as much knowledge as the so called experts claim to know.

When there is rough weather in Iowa I always come here. I love the discussions that take place on this forum given the knowledge and passion some have. Threads have subject lines, skip over those u don't like.
It's one thing if the weather (whether it be summer or winter weather) is potentially severe enough that someone's well being or property could be at risk. But when the forecast for today and tonight is "showers and possibly a thunderstorm," what more is needed to be known? When there is rough weather in Iowa I always come here. Weather emergency!
If someone I know was going to say.....skip out of the office and go golfing in Indianola this afternoon, would that person be getting wet?

Like Iastfan112 said, the weather forecast/system to watch is for this weekend. That, in my opinion, is worthy of a thread that I will read and take much interest in.
It's a discussion board on the internet, in the off topic section. IF people want to discuss the weather, who cares? As someone said, topics have Titles, you can skip over those you don't wish to read. I don't understand why people care what others talk about on a message board.
I always enjoy reading peoples insights on the weather on here.

With all modes of severe weather possible, and a good chance of many tornadoes, including some strong twisters that stay on the ground for a long time, it’s safe to say at this point that Sunday has the potential to go down as a historic outbreak of severe weather.
That gets my blood pumping. I love a good serve storm. As long as everyone is safe and secure afterwards. If storm chasers are saying this, you know it's going to be big.
VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION: Massive Severe Weather Outbreak Expected Sunday
