Sorry to interrupt the bickering, but does anyone know why the Ticketmaster link to order tickets isn't currently working? TIA

Ticket sales are way down. And we're not expanding our stadium after 3-9 and 2-10 seasons.

Sounds like the Hawkeye program is on the decline. Explains things why you come to Cyclone Fanatic where the number of fans and posters is on the rise, rather than a dead Hawkeye website.

Poor Lil Brother.

I think something might be glitches in the system. When I log in to my account my football tickets are there, but it doesn't show my basketball ticket invoice, even though I've paid half the balance. I was going to give it until Monday before I called to check on it.

Expanding the stadium right now is good for a few reasons:

1) If the team improves this year (which I think it could) the stadium will be full, and the environment will be greatly improved to will the team to a few more wins.
2) If the team doesn't improve, the new south endzone vastly improves the stadium's appearance, making it more appealing to a new HC.

Do Iowa State fans post on Hawkeyes forums as much as they post here? I don't even understand why people go to other teams forums?

I post on other team forums all the time, I enjoy reading about and bantering about other teams.

Looks like it might be the firewall at work blocking me. I just tried going directly to Ticketmaster.com and got some error message about not being able to access that site on this server.

Yeah, I'm able to login just fine, but seems something is not in the system correctly once I'm in there.

Yes.. more empty seats is always a good thing. Matter of fact, you should close the stadium to the public. Let just 100-200 donors in. Urban Meyer just might leave tOSU for ISU.

Big difference between the last time these two teams met (which many would say is realistically as current as you can be with sports) and living 35 years ago when Hayden Fry was the coach.

Who needs to live 35 years ago? Are you making up timeframes? That's another favorite thing for you folks to do.

To attract a coach with enough star power to attract great recruits, ISU should have saved a big chunk of that stadium expansion money toward the next coach's pay package. It's the only way to possibly turn the program around. Then the money comes in to finish off expansion, when there is a demand for it. IMO

Living in the past, Clone?

I thought that's what you accused Iowa of doing?

Looking forward to you not mentioning Iowa State's seasons of the last 2 years. They are in the "Past".

Moving forward, it looks like Iowa State will definitely have record crowds for Jack Trice in our first 2 games for sure. Just love setting new attendance records.

Ya because surely breaking attendance records will lure anything more than a 2 star to Ames.

Much better than lagging ticket sales and lower attendance like a team to the east of us is experiencing.

Increasing attendance and a newly expanded bowled in stadium are good things.

Explain to me why you are on Cyclone Fanatic..........Mr. Troll. You smell like Hawkeye stench.
