This Iowa team stinks, there is zero excuse to lose to this team.
but for him to be head coach, Kirk has to be gone. When Kirk is gone, the Ferentz booster allegiance is gone, BF would be the death of their program. As much as we would all enjoy it, aint gonna happen. Although I do dream of CMac and BF being appointed as head BB and FB coaches as Barta's legacy. Probably doesn't matter which team they coach, BF as BB coach CMac as FB coach it would be a train wreck!

But I just can't shake the trauma of the past few years. It seems pre-ordained that we're going to gift them this game in the most absolutely undisciplined and stupid fashion.
We do, but often that 3rd LB lines up outside or more in coverage outside of the box. Like I noted in my original post "[ ] only 5 in the box on many plays." There were many, many plays I witnessed against SEMO and every other team throughout the last several years where we only have 5 in the box to start a play and rely on the DBs to come up and make tackles.
I just hope we get help for a guy like McDonald. Dude comes back selflessly to help the program and gets double-teamed on many plays by SEMO, but when you only have 3 down lineman rushing and no blitz (maybe 10% of the time blitz) they can do that to you. Just hoping we see a change this week against Iowa and stack more people up close as Iowa's best chance is running against us and if we can get them in 2nd and 9 or 3rd and 8 forcing them to pass, it's going to set us up very well.
I hope Isaiah Lee has a big day. The NG for South Dakota State seemed to get through the Iowa line with ease.
Iowa is bad. Like, really bad. That being said, they will show up for this game and it's in Kinnick. Iowa has a horrible offense and Petras doesn't deserve his starting job anymore.
Our defense looked suspect, so I'm expecting 13 from a bad Iowa offense.
Dekkers was sharp and Hutchinson might be the best receiver in the league.

I was joking. I don't dislike gummies but they're not my first choice, not a huge fan of the delay before taking effect or how long it lasts.
