I think he did serve a suspension for this at the beginning of last season.

The original article on espn said CPR would consider additional suspensions if Gary was found guilty in the incident. I'm assuming that he'll miss another 3 games this year at the beginning of the season. Too bad as I was really enjoying watching him play.

At a bare minimum I think Rhoads has to suspend him for the first 3 games this season, because he did say that more punishment could be handed out if he was found guilty. I'm not sure what the precedent is on keeping someone on the team that has committed a felony? Berryman missed an entire season, but that was under a different head coach.

There should always be one exemption for disciplinary suspensions - Iowa. They always play their suspects, convicts, and defendants against us, why shouldn't we return the favor? The trial should be scheduled for 2 days after the Iowa game.


Is there anything that CPR can do to help control our academic and criminal issues? Or is that just a consequence of getting better "talent" in our program?
