Think that was terrible late game coaching down the stretch. Last three minutes of the game we did not execute one set play. Think Fred would have called a time out. We played hard, but those types of losses really make the fans mad. Scott the senior played like a freshman in the second half, and we went away from Royce and its not like there defense was that great. This is why Haith is the coach of the year in the Big 12, not Fred.

Can you imagine playing an average game on the road against a top 10 opponent on senior night (when they have 6 seniors)!?! COACHES SUCK! Haith rules! :jimlad:

I would agree with you on this particular game. I think Fred was outcoached most of the 2nd half tonight... but especially late in the game. Our offense got completely out of whack, and Scotty all of the sudden thought he was Magic Johnson or something by handling the ball the whole time.

Personally, I hate uncalled intentional fouls at the end of games. I don't mind going for the steal and dealing with the consequences. That's the way basketball should be played. Intentionally abusing the rules to gain an advantage is cheating in most sports.

No, Mizzou just buckled down on D. Give them credit, they are very good. Not every game can be explained by coaching. We just aren't athletic enough in the backcourt to match up with a team like Mizzou at this point. Mizzou is probably the best example of how not having a PG can be a problem.

I thought Hoiberg should have gotten a technical called anywhere from the 8 to 5 minute mark in order to fire up the team and straighten out the refs.

Didn't happen. Tim Floyd and Johnny Orr knew when to get T's.

Scotty needs to stop dribbling into no man's land. Obviously they weren't giving him any calls.

Royce should have been handling the ball more at the top of the key those last 10 minutes.

See this is why the cyclones have done so poor in the past. You guys are satisfied with this loss just because it is 'a top ten team". It is time for a change in the cyclone fan-base.Im not saying we have to win every-game. When we lead most the game and should win, you guys are satisfied because its always been "the cyclone way".
