It should be worrisome that Ben Afflecks best role was in Good Will Hunting. In which he was outperformed by Damon, Williams, Driver, some red headed dude, the guy who played the scientist in The Avengers and his younger brother.

We was good in the Town and Argo... Of course he directed those so maybe that was manufactured.

He's had a couple new movies that I've like him in, Argo for one.

His best role was Shannon Hamilton, the proprietor of Fashionable Male, in Mallrats.

I actually prefer his "Tour De Force" as O'Bannion in Dazed and Confused.

I don't think he's a terrible actor honestly. He's had some duds (Gigli, which I've never watched), but overall I think he's pretty decent.

I just don't buy him as Batman. Not now that we've had the best and darkest version of Batman ever.

It took an all time classic acting job for Heath Ledger to outdo Jack Nicholson. I don't think Affleck has that kind of performance in him.

Because of this I just put on Dazed and Confused.

In all fairness, at the time most people didn't think Ledger had it in him either.
