Just a statement to get one of Nebraska’s few D1 prospects, and out of Lincoln no less.

As disappointing as last season was I have a good vibe about this season. All these early commits are part of that momentum. I think we surprise on the upside and are a contender to return to the CCG.

Third receiver of the class - Cyclones earn commitment from Lincoln, Neb. WR over Washington and the Huskers.

Welcome Obi-Wan (Kenobi). May the Force follow you to Ames! :)

Hopefully he has better hands than Hakeem did. That might be his downfall if he is that tall and that fast. Suprised he is not ranked higher with that height and speed.
I suspect that's because he only had 25 receptions and 6 TDs last year. Who knows why? A running offense? A lousy QB who couldn't get him the ball? A lot of good WRs to spread the ball to? Your guess is as good as mine. He also played defense a good bit of the time in his videos.

Sorry Frosty and all your fuskers, stealing one from Lincoln is sweet
To be fair, NU already has 3 WR recruits rated higher than Ngoyi. One might wonder how hard they tried for him.

But, I trust our coaches' judgment. I recall that Xavier Hutchinson was considered the 2nd best receiver at his junior college. But our staff wanted him and X had 83 catches last year. Pretty much catches everything thrown at him. I trust Ngoyi will be well-trained and have a great chance to be highly productive at ISU. As others have noted, we have a pretty good track record with receivers the past 5 years.

This. We didn’t steal him from Nebraska. It was between us and Washington. Still a great recruiting win.
