I went to ISU, but I have some friends from grad school that went to Nebraska. They act like the Huskers are still a big deal, but in reality they haven’t been relevant in decades. It’s not 1990 anymore. Nebraska fans are delusional and living in the past.

The last time Nebraska was relevant was at the 1:15 mark, just before the snap.

I went to UNL, and my wife went to Ames. You fellas talk a lot , but don't know **** about the Huskers.

I'll continue to root for the Cyclones in the Big 12, but you're a hateful bunch. Bitterness is bad.

I know our AD's have been trying to get a game with you guys.
Ames...High School?

You can't be bothered to type ISU for her?

Way up there
If Frost can't win at Nebby in the NIL era, he's a dud. They can throw tons of money around. The QB that transferred from Texas said Huskers had better NIL opportunities.

This reminds me of Wisconsin fan when Milan committed. We dosing want a top 50 recruit from our home state. This coming from a team that we just got done beating with our first year coach

Nebraska fan. We don’t want a 6”4 wide reciever who runs a sub 4.4 fourty time. This coming from a team that hasn’t been to a bowl game in years

Ummm ok fellas. Keep up the delusional fan bases

Lots of Nebbie fans taking pot shots at the news. I didn't know he was from Lincoln until the Omaha article showed up. Funny husker fans think they're really ready to start winning!

As a student at Iowa State in the mid 70s, I had to endure a lot of lopsided beat downs from those pricks. So it has been quite heartwarming to see their death spiral over the past twenty years. They sold their football soul to the big ten and they are destined to remain bottom feeders for all eternity. That abomination of what they call a “stadium” will probably wind up getting scaled back since people will eventually resign themselves to the cold hard truth and stop supporting them. Same thing will hopefully happen to the Hoks when fat little Ferrents gets the head coaching job.

I almost kind of hope kNU has a good year this year, just good enough to keep Frost a little longer. They're no threat to being relevant while he's there and I would enjoy seeing them get their hopes up before failing miserably again next year. Of course, I don't live in western Iowa anymore so I wouldn't have to hear from their insufferable fans.

Then again, they haven't exactly figured out how to hire a good coach, there's a good chance the next guy in is even worse.

You were on our schedule every year until your AD decided to stab the big XII in the back and ***** itself out to be a doormat for the B1G.

Back to Ngoyi, the Huskers made a home run hire with WR coach Mickey Joseph. Very charismatic, recruits seem to love him. But, their roster is now flooded with wide receivers. About 20% of their players. So how that pans out, who knows. But I suspect Ngoyi was not a priority for them, and that Ngoyi saw an overcrowded room at NU. And he surely just liked ISU better.

We all can see, Nebraska has been miserable for years. But not for lack of talent. I'd say mostly due to mediocre QB play and lack of good coaching. Even so, the gap between them and us is not what we like to think. Keep in mind we lost to Texas Tech and West Virginia last year. My guess is if we played NU, it would be a close game. Win or lose, it seems the majority of our games are close. I watch every Husker game, often with friends who are fans, and they are much more competitive than what their record suggests. Under Frost they just manage to shoot themselves in the foot a lot.

I pray we get to play Nebraska in the future. As long as Scott Frost is there, there will be funny business and below average football. You’re AD hired a coach with an ego the size of the Hindenburg.
