I don’t mind Bilas. His personality rubs people the wrong way, but I think he is solid
I dont like some of his commentary but you are correct, he is as fair/unbiased as they come
Bilas is fine. People hate him because he is very vocal and can be a little smug but he’s does his job well. Is Shulman doing it with him because he is elite.

Has said on numerous occasions this season ISU is a championship contender and overall loves this team. I get in the past Bilas has largely ignored us and the ESPN bias against the Big 12 is a real thing, but hearing ISU fans victimizing themselves at every opportunity gets extremely old as well.
Yeah, he's clearly intelligent, but he definitely wants to make sure you know it.
And when he starts droning on about whatever pet issue he has (hating video review, for example) it gets annoying as hell.
If I want to listen to homers b*tch about the officiating I'll just turn on Walters and Heft.
As has been said, he can be smug and annoying, but he'll also do solid research on our team and know what he's talking about when he says something most of the time.

On gameday today it took them 45 minutes to talk about Iowa state. That’s the first they mentioned us. The number three ranked team in the country. It was all Duke and Auburn and he said those two were the clear best teams in the country
