My annoyance with the paid boards and Williams is that he will go on radio or a podcast and bring something up and then not give you the story. Now I get why but at the same time its annoying as f. To me if you talk about it on the radio, that better be the content that you spill the beans on, don't half ass it and just give a teaser.
Success on the field mixed with relationship to Craig McDonald/Deon Broomfield and the love that the Cyclone fanbase showed him made the difference here.
Broomfield has been a huge recruiter for us. Isn’t he the one pulling guys from Florida too?
Mainly Veidt is, but Broomfield has left his mark.
It's probably more to do with do we still want him. Decent chance we lose 3 safeties so taking three is possible.
No one's talking about this - but we're currently the #1 ranked class in the new-look B12. WVU and OSU are right on our heels, next is Baylor, Cincy, UCF in that order.
So, other than Orange are we still looking to add to this class?

I can't figure out the story with Orange - I have to wonder if there's a qualification or personality issue? Something else? He was a highly sought after recruit early on and then crickets. Who knows, but I'm not surprised that 4L thinks there's no activity there.
I would assume Ahmad Moten would be a possibility to add, according to 247 he just set up an official visit for Dec 10.
The national ranking on this class is great, if we can pull in a couple more of these in a row I feel better about ISU being able to hover around top 10. Our coaching staff helps bring us higher than the recruits we get.
I just read that about being 22nd in the country. I'm sure Iowa State has never been close to that before. So while this year has been frustrating a bit this is something. Usually we're 48th, 56th or something like that.
I love his offer list, can’t wait to see this kid grow into a star on the field at Jack Trice.
Exited for this 2022 class to get on campus. Good sign that Iowa state football is up and coming..
