Jamie on KXNO a bit ago:.......
- If Orlando gets Notre Dame, they will pick Texas..... for TV ratings
- Made it sound like the most likely was Liberty Bowl... that puts Iowa State in a good position
- Mentioned he and Coach Campbell would love to play Missouri in Houston
- Mentioned the December 26th bowls are not ideal for fans.....said Campbell didn't prefer those because you can't practice as long, since the game is earlier.
- ..... best case scenario for media in the state is if Iowa plays in Nashville on 29th and Iowa State plays in Memphis on 30th

Sounds like Jamie is trying to convince the fans that going to Memphis (for a possible home game against Memphis) would be great. The extra days of practice and convenience for the media was a stretch. And if Orlando could drop down to take Texas, does it matter what TCU does?

I would honestly sign up for that right now with the way that all of this has gone (if Camping World is actually going to pick Texas)

I would think the USC win helps our cause with getting TCU in a NY6 bowl, but if that means putting us in Houston instead of Memphis not sure I like that. 14 hours of driving or a $600 minimum flight out of Des Moines? No thanks.

Hey, I'm as big a Cyclone fan as they come, but you have to admit Texas has a much larger national following than we do. Also, they haven't gone to a bowl in a few years, so I'm sure they'd travel extremely well for a bowl game against ND.

Do you think the camping World Bowl reps were listening to KXNO?

Only at half, but if Memphis beats UCF today, does Memphis automatically go to the NY6 bowl as the non power 5 representative? Or does it have to be an undefeated non power 5 team? And would the outcome effect our opponent at Liberty bowl if we in fact go there?
