Every K-Stater except for the AD already is.

The internet seems this way but do actual fans that aren't on the internet feel this way? I did hear something about a possible protest outside of his press conference.

As an actual KSU alum and fan, I can report that the vast majority of KSU fans are not unhappy that Frank Martin is gone. Frank threatened the administration, like they were one of his players, one too many times. The NCAA is no longer running around Manhattan in sun glasses and trench coats that do not match their J.C. Penney suits. The rumored player revolt that was threatened if Martin stayed of course went away quietly. No players now plan to transfer.

Bruce Weber--who knows--ask me in 4-5 years. All I can tell you for sure is that my old friend and KSU grad Gene Keady speaks highly of Weber. Weber was an assistant of Keady's for years.

So now they have two guys who have experience running a program into the ground. If he could only convince Matt Doherty and Jeff Capel to round out his coaching staff, K-State would be set.

Yeah I didn't understand why that was a huge get.

Dave Bliss's show-cause should be up soon, right?

All kinds of basketball experts spoke highly of Greg McD also. If Frank was so bad why didnt the team just quit on him and go through the motions at the end of the year? Why did the sign to play for him they could see what kids of coach he was? If Martin did do things wrong at KSU, which all kinds of fans said were not happing a year ago, they would still be there digging.

Love Pullen's candor here.

From things I've read on the KSU boards, a lot of guys think he will look to get into coaching. Bright guy, fiery, and knows the game. Wouldn't shock me at all to see him at the helm in Manhattan in 10 years, a la Fred.

Then I can now report that the vast majority of K State fans are idiots.

that clown doesn't speak for kstate fans. there are a handful that will lick the a.d.'s heels and believe whatever press release they spin out, but the majority of kstate fans view the hire with either disgust, distrust or dismay.
