He said, "I could care less what anybody has to say."
So he DOES care.

I don't know why the coaches made the change. I speculate it's because we're getting eight to nine people in the box and as opposed to trying to beat those people to the corner we're trying to just make a seam and shoot through them. I also believe that we on paper and supposedly in practice have the players to push people around it just isn't happening.Gotcha. Then why make this blocking style change now? I understand new personal can force these changes, but that isn't the case. Not expecting an answer by the way.
It was ruled a fumble and recovery by Baylor. It literally took a turn over off the board. There was also a huge 3rd down they gave use a freeby on. The penalties were huge.
He's a human like everyone else. Just sitting there after a loss getting questions that are stupid from hacks that don't coach. Can't be easy.
Agree to disagree. The fumble literally didn't happen if the guy doesn't commit a penalty. No penalty, no fumble. Can't have it both ways.
I'm re-watching the game now (3rd qtr), and haven't yet seen one of those game-changing penalties in our favor.
Entitled much?Seriously? Well then maybe he should cue Human League's 1985 hit..............."I'm only human" after every loss, and then go on and only take questions from other coaches. Wouldn't want to make things any harder than what they are considering ISU only has the margins.

No I just think it's ridiculous to expect someone to completely take their own personal bias and emotion out of the situation a half an hour after it happened. It just happened he hasn't watched the replay he has nothing to offer other than his instantaneous feelings of the situation. So we are supposed to feel bad for him?

Pressure of all the expectations coming down pretty hard right now. He's as much to blame for that as anyone else feeding the media what he did in the spring and fall. All I'm saying is give the guy at least 24 hours to have some self-reflection. If we would judge people by how they react on here I don't imagine any of his CF critics would do any better in that situation.Sure it's raw, just minutes after a disappointing loss, but there's no doubt Matt will look back at his 'don't care' response and wish he had handled it differently.
This was really the first time I've seen CMC back on his heels. Own the 2 pt. call, the ST failures, and the slow starts with a confident 'We will' demeanor that he's known for.
The Iowa game was prove it, this is just the wheels coming off at this point. Still plenty of time to have a good season but Campbell wanted to be undefeated as much as the fans did no doubt about that. This feels like "Prove It" all over again
Ok but they consistently had a 80-yard field in front of them when they took possession vs. Iowa, while Iowa consistently had a 50-yard in front of them when they took possession. Congrats for having more total yards I guess but if you actually look at what happened it's just because Iowa's D dominated with turnovers and Iowa's ST dominated with field position.
Please tell me they will be in our pod if we ever join the B1G!Minnesota lost to Bowling Green while favored by 31. Fleck is now 0-17 all time when trailing at half-time. The Boat is taking on water.
Gophers had a big year in 2019, took their lumps in the Covid year, and now sit 2-2. They’re a school with all the resources set in a major metro area. Fleck was a hot commodity the same time we got Campbell. Sustainability is hard.
Say what you will about our shortfalls, but seldom do we lay down and die in the 2nd half. Our team has guts. We’ve come roaring back several times (win or lose): KState in 2018, Baylor in 2019, OU in 2019, Baylor in 2020, Big 12 title game in 2020. Our coaches have the ability to adjust and our players have shown they will rise to the occasion. I just wish we came out the gate hotter so we don't leave it so late.
The best part about that was that the Goofers were so worried about getting steamrolled by any big 10 team on their schedule that they took the uncommon route of making one of their non-con patsies their homecoming game. But they couldn't even handle BGU.Minnesota lost to Bowling Green while favored by 31. Fleck is now 0-17 all time when trailing at half-time. The Boat is taking on water.

Iowa ran 60 plays in 13 possessions, and they failed to gain a first down in 6 of those possessions. Short field or not, failing to convert a first down newly half the time and having under 5 plays per drive is not impressive.
