The phrase "the light comes on" is used a lot in sports.

Sometimes the message delivered by the light coming on is, "I'm never going to play here".

Went for first time last night. My observations:

You people are going to freakin' love Clayton Custer.

McKay might actually blow the roof off Hilton with one of his dunks.

Returning guys all looking good.

Yes, if he was better he may not have transferred somewhere else in search of playing time. You are correct.

It's Bluford. You realize we are talking about the guy that didnt even pass the rock to Ellerman. That's strike one, two, and three in my book.

Why are people still talking about KJ? We have all this great talent coming and in people are arguing about a guy who never really played significant minutes. He was a last minute scholly gamble that didn't pay off. Sort of in the same way that Giorgios was a last minute prospect that seems too good to pass up. Things will either work out or they won't.

It's not as if these guys are the main members of their respective recruiting classes.

He actually reminds me of Mike Gesell a little; just without the ginger. Can really push the ball and score from odd angles. And it's not like we need him to do anything other than back up next year.

We'll probably think of him more like Bobby Hurley after he is part of a couple national title teams.

Kinda sorta.. If Bluford shooting the ball most every time he touched worked well, Fred would have played him more. And Bluford never would have left.
Groundbreaking. If he was good he would have played more? It all makes sense now.
