If that's wrong then we both would be wrong. Rhoads has shown to much passion for ISU and said too many things to lead us to believe he will be here a long time. If he left, IMO, everything he has said would be a farce and I would feel like we were used. It's not just the winning that is making his name pop up. It's the type of coach he is. It's the type of emotion he shows that really translates to college sports, especially at ISU because you have to find something to make up the talent gap. In our case we do it, for the most part with passion, emotion and intensity. I would feel like that was "faked", for lack of a better term, while he was here if he left so soon for a place like ASU or Illinois. If it were Alabama or Florida or Ohio or something like that, I may not feel that way. You can do as much at ISU as you can at Illinois or ASU and with the new money coming in, you can make as much. It would break my heart to see him leave and yes, I realize that is somewhat pathetic.
