Another thing I find humorous about the whole "antibiotic free grass fed cattle" deal with chipotle is that they get their meat from Australia. Now I know there are other posters on here that can process this info....You have 10,000 acres of grass in Australia that holds 500 brahma cows for example, and these cattle they send to slaughter are 4 years old because they couldn't get them caught and didn't have facilities to work them and give them shots and none have been castrated. Chipotle buys them for next to nothing brings them to the US and feeds them to city people and brags about food with integrity. You literally bought the cheapest beef source you could find because it was cheap! Not because you actually care about where it comes from. That's why grass fed beef producers in the US have made such a deal about this is Chipoltle says the US cant handle grass fed beef demand, yet there are thousands of producers banging on their door trying to get in. TLDR.

Chipoltle switches their food sources around to wherever they can get the cheapest ingredients and then passes it off as some "save the world" bs so that uneducated people like you buy into it. In fact pretty much the whole "food w/ integrity" motto is complete crap. In fact, a large percentage of their food is made by the same company that processes mcdonalds food.

Yea, I honestly don't care where the meat is from, I am just saying they have rising food costs of already expensive food.

There has to be better options in Dallas for a burrito.

Yeah, if you're living in Texas and go to Chipotle for a burrito, you're doing it wrong. That's like going to Naples and ordering from Dominos.

Oh absolutely. But when I am hungover as ****, going across the street is inevitably going to happen.

Not to mention that the Australians have started eschewing the traditional Blue Heeler in their cattle operations, in favor of pit bulls, which while infinitely more dangerous, (killing more babies each year than even the most ferocious pack of dingos) are significantly cheaper. It's a travesty I tells ya!

Don't get me started on blue heelers....if you recall a few pitbull threads back, I killed my sisters blue heeler that was mean while she was on vacation and then threw it in a road ditch and told her it ran away. Her life is much less stressful now not having to lock the dog up before her 1 year old goes outside.

So sad, that dog only had one more day to retirement.

On a somewhere related note, is Mr. Burrito still open in Ames? I've been away from Ames for a while now but always had a good experience there.
