Chris and McKee were my favorite Cyclones the past 2 years. Chris replaced Rahshon Clark for my man crush I guess. Both seemed to give it their all, even if they were having an off night.

Chris Babb was invaluable on the team...without him locking down the best guy on the other team, we wouldn't have had some of those wins. He was a favorite of mine because he came to the game with a work ethic that didn't quit. I wish him well, and hope he makes the roster. He may not have the flashy stat line, but then again, he doesn't have the 'tude that those guys come in with (T Rob, anyone???).

Still makes me sick to think that he hurt his ankle and was not there for the OSU game.

Many times the "I Do " attitude or work ethic is more important than the natural talent without the strong work ethic. Chris Babb has the strong work ethic that will pay off in the long run.

They need to dump Rondo asap. That could get Babb a spot.
If he hangs on to Rondo, Stevens will never get off the ground.

Rondo is one of the best point guards in the league. He is the definition of a great teammate(on the court anyway). Please elaborate on why they need to dump him?

A point guard is worthless if he has nobody to feed the ball to, and with the Celtics over the salary cap he is eating up salary cap space. Yeah, ideally the Celtics would want to hold onto him, but if they're rebuilding, do you build your team around a point guard?

You mean the guy the offense runs through? Rondo will make other players on his team better. Rondo will probably get traded regardless, because I am not sure he wants to be there. But yes, if you have an elite point guard like Rondo, you would ideally like to build a team around him. Chris Paul, Derrick Rose, Rajon Rondo, and Tony Parker are the elite PG's in the NBA right now. Kyrie Irving will be elite in the very near future.

Me too. That was such a deflating injury and I thought they had no chance to stay in the game without him. And when they would pan to him on the bench he looked pretty awful and I realized that in 2 years I hadn't seen Babb on the bench for an extended period of time in a game that mattered. And then as quickly as I swung downward, I was up when we pulled off that amazing comeback. And than it was even lower after the highway robbery at the end.

Do you hold on to a quarterback if you are rebuilding a team?

Yup, Celtics will and should trade Rondo this season. He's a great PG, but has only this year and next left on his contract and then will be looking for a huge payday. C's won't be remotely good enough to compete by then so won't make sense to keep him then anyhow.

Trade him this season for best rookies/draft picks they can get.

I would. There are not that many stars like Dwight Howard.

PGs like Steve Nash, Derrick Rose, Stephen Curry, Russell Westbrook, Deron Williams, etc are not too shabby.

QB or AP ....i say no, do whats right for a player thats been loyal to your franchise and will get you what you need in return for what the team goals are. I would trade rondo to highest bidder, AP needs to go elsewhere too for sure!
