Not exactly sure.
Had Peyton went to Ole Miss things may have played out differently with Eli. Tough to directly follow your record setting brother at the same position. Cooper went to Ole Miss as a WR, but not sure he even played. Zero shoes to fill.
Cooper was diagnosed with a back issue and gave up football after HS. Peyton said Cooper was a social legend there, that was his thing.

Can you imagine if our basketball starting 5 was:

PG: Purdy
SG: Xavier Hutchison
SF: TJ Tampa
PF: Will Mcdonald
Stretch 5: Enyi

Would they even lose a game?
You know there are enough “what football players can join the basketball team” threads over the years that people are pretty excited about this. I think there people on here that really thought Chase Allen would be better than Rob Jones.

Oh **** ya I’m one of ‘em bud. Just send him out there to push people around me foul people, you know REAL basketball. We’d never get beat for a rebound again.

So NU will have 5 QBs contending to start. Sophomore that started their final game, RS Fr. that many think is their best potential, incoming 2022 high school recruit, Texas transfer Thompson and now Chubba. Seems crowded!

But, Coach Frost has a gun to his head. Win next year or get fired. So makes sense he would sign every QB he can get in hopes that someone can win some games for him. I'm sure they sold Chubba that Thompson starts for 2 years and then you get the next two. But Frost could be long gone by then.

One of the worst lines in all of fbs last year. Hard to look good behind that.

Chubba was rated higher but probably because of the name recognition at that point.

Now that I looked, I see that Chubba was a 4* recruit. What is the back story on him at FSU? Can he really be good at Nebby, or is the UT kid going to beat him out?

They might lose by a thousand but watching some little guard drive the lane and get a charge call when Enyi steps in front would be worth whatever I paid to get in.

Not sure. He committed to Louisville originally then flipped. McKenzie Milton xferred to FSU but I don't think Chubba was even 2nd string.

He didn't look like a 4* star yesterday. I was hoping he could do something in the 2nd half, but yikes...
