Scott Dochterman from the Athletic has an article online today stating that "It’s frustrating for Iowa fans to watch their rivals compete against powerhouse Power-5 opponents while the Hawkeyes’ only major-conference foe every year is Iowa State."

Scott Dochterman is a huge Hawkeye dooosh too.... so there is that.

Better chance we do it with Iowa, plus the Ames economy benefits way more with Iowa on the schedule then it does with Arkansas.

If you had to bet your life savings between hosting Iowa or hosting Arkansas on which one would bring in more collective money to the University and the City (or even the State for that matter) which one do you bet on?

I know when I travel to away games (further than the Kansas schools) I spend two nights in the town at a hotel, restaurants, etc.
I haven't been to IA City for a couple rotations but I would stay with a friend and depending on time it would be just for the day.

Why give the Iowa homer fan Scott Dochterman the time of day. The Iowa fan media has been pushing for this game to go away for 25 years. It wasn't an issue when Iowa won every year.
