CW/CF Hype Machine

On a serious note - every year our teams are hyped up here and with the exception of last year's basketball team we always fall short.

Ummmmm............no.

We have games where we suck. Everyone does. We have games, especially early in the year, where the team doesn't look like they are on the same page. Which is normal, considering the number of new people we bring in every year.

We always fall short? No way. I can't think of a season where I was disappointed with where ended up.

This team had an off shooting night and some very sloppy play by a senior transfer. They got mentally shook and didn't respond well. That said Fred is the best coach and the team will come back stronger from this. It is not like Maryland is a bad team, those freshman were part of a top 10 class and nobody knew if they would play well out of the gate. Well, they are 5-0. I would say that is pretty well.

This team should be hyped. When McKay is eligible we will have an excellent player at every typical starting position and at least two excellent players coming off the bench.

This isn't Nebraska that is hyped for being a 19 win bubble team that barely made the tournament and has never won an NCAA game. The team will use the Maryland game to build and grow.

It's people like you that keep a power-hungry hypster like CW running. There is no rational way to explain losing a game this season and not winning a national championship or 3. CW guaranteed me personally we would never lose this season, and that alone is the reason his reign of tyranny must end.
