Isn't the name of this site CycloneFANATIC? Aren't we just 3 games into the season with some new parts to work in? And can you post his predictions of said national championships? And last AND MOST IMPORTANT ---- do you only form your opinions from 1 guy running a really cool Cyclones sports website?
It's actually my fault. My dad came and watched the game with me. Last time he did that was @ West Virginia. It is unfortunate that I can never watch a game with him ever again.

Some people's inability to detect sarcasm is mindboggling
For some fool reason, this hasn't been addressed yet, and that's disappointing.
The real problem with last night rests squarely with CW and his relentless CF Hype Machine. Without his relentless homerism, I never would have expected 65 wins and 2 national championships this year. I never would have expected triple digits in a season filled with 25-30 point blowouts. I wouldn't have expected 17 foot tall players draining 3s while teammates dunk at the same time. I wouldn't have been surprised to stumble in last night, which has to be the single greatest defeat in the history of sports or sports entertainment. I would have just understood that we are Iowa State, accepted failure and gone on with life. I could even have understood that a team could have a bad night here and there.
Maybe, just maybe, CW will learn from this and start posting more realistic expectations for the team, now that we can't win anymore than 35 games and 1 national title this year. Thanks a lot, CW. This one's on you.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a pile of tickets to burn.
Somebody doesn't get the joke.
Did CW get to UNC, too? Is there no limit to the damage he'll do?
You guys are mean.

On a serious note - every year our teams are hyped up here and with the exception of last year's basketball team we always fall short.
