If you’re going to play with fire and try to squeeze that play in there and hope the ball gets spotted in time to save your ass, don’t complain about the refs. Take the L like a big boy and admit you got burned. The refs did nothing wrong on that play.

Dak could have gone down 5 yards earlier to make sure they had time to spike the ball. If you’re going to try to squeeze the margins that closely down to the last second, you don’t get to blame the refs.

They over paid dak, same with out of shape zeke

they are untradeable especially dak. He knows he has never once come up big in a crucial moment. He also knows he will be the prime scapegoat for all the future Cowboy playoff failure.

If the Cowboys didn't play in the worst division in football with three teams run by complete dipshits, they wouldn't have even made the playoffs. They aren't good and are going to sit there and waste what's left of Amari Cooper and all of CeeDee Lamb's careers with Dak.

It had nothing to do with the refs. The organization and coaching stinks.

These players are making millions and still make bone headed mistakes. Surely a NFL QB or Center would know enough to pick up the ball and hand it to the official so they can spot it in a hurry up situation.

Cowboys were very undisciplined and sloppy the whole game. Nobody to blame but themselves IMO.
And yes, watching Jerry Jones get his hopes up and then getting crushed was heavenly.

Jerry Jones is a total douche. Could not be happier for him today. The only owner in NFL history that has fired coaches that each won 2 superbowls (Landry and Johnson). And the only owner that gets interviewed after every game.... talk about ego.

If any Cowboy fan, player, or coach thought they lost that game because of the officiating…. they don’t understand the game at all.

SF was the better team the entire game. Physically dominated Dallas and bullied them around. Those are the facts. Dallas looked unorganized and even disinterested at times. The better team won that game…. not even close. Dallas was playing from way behind most of that game…. why was that?? Because they weren’t the better team….. don’t blame it on the refs.

This was exactly what I said last night during the game. Go down a few years earlier and clock wouldn't have run out.

Dallas penalties 14 Dallas points 17. Playoff game and 14 penalties? Coaching staff did an awesome job of preparing them! Hope they all stay for next season!

I’m having a hard time understanding what’s controversial about the end of that game. It was over when Dak decided to run the play before. The official got in there to spot the ball faster than they normally would, and there still wasn’t enough time because he slid with 8 seconds left.

If anything, the official should’ve taken more time to spot the ball accurately. It was only close because he did them a solid and just touched the ball without backing up to where the slide started.

McCarthy and Dak think the ref cost them the game, when to be honest, even if they had been able to clock that, they had about a one in a million chance at converting that TD on the next play…. and had they not converted it, they probably would have blamed the refs on that too.

Jerry Jones is the worst owner in sports and the Cowboys will not be relevant in the Super Bowl conversation again until Jones sells the team or dies.
