Just because you disagree with the law doesn't mean you can break it. Weed is still illegal, so at the end of the day cops still found an illegal substance in his apartment. Pretty cut and dry.

I understand it's illegal and BDJ was stupid for putting himself in the situation.

I also think it's stupid for fans to want the kid run out of town over this.

If Freddy is smart you suspend him a couple games, save face and just lose to iowa. A loss to iowa on the road is really meaningless to this season. And who knows, you still might beat them.

So since you admitted that you smoke from time to time, shouldn't you also have to be smarter about the situations you put yourself in? Him smoking weed (whether he did or didn't) is no different than you doing it.

Lol oh my god, please tell me you are kidding! Please tell me you are not comparing me to BDJ!! haha oh boy! This is just pure fricken gold! I thought Ive read it all on here.

HFCS- If you go back and read my posts, you will see I stated that I wish Fran would have punished him more than he did. And lets say Peter came in with the baggage that BJD, and all of the reports of him being a horrible neighbor, disrespecting his coach (by not settling down after Fred told him to), ect. to any i would absolutely be in favor having him kicked off the team.

Agreed that isn't cool.

Also, that not being cool does not warrant a suspension.

And if Fred told Bryce to knock it off and Bryce didn't change his behavior...I can see that warranting a suspension. He tried handling it "internally" and that doesn't seem to have worked.

They should have made him change shirts before someone snapped pictures. That picture will be used forever with ISU athletics now.

This has become a PR nightmare and it's the main reason I feel like he ends up suspended even though I really disagree with that. Hoping cooler heads prevail up in Ames.

I know plenty of college students who don't smoke weed, aren't unnecessarily loud at 3 a.m., and haven't gotten the cops called to their place five times in four months. So those who act like every college kid does this have no idea what they are talking about.

5 times is excessive, but it sounds like it was just 1 neighbor that had a major issue with it. At some point he should have just gone with "cant beat em, join em" I had to do that in college with my noisy floor. Its part of enjoying your adventure at ISU

Whatever he did before at USC/UNLV should not matter. Fred brought him here to get a FRESH START, not to bring up old **** at the first sign of trouble. These Hok fans are ridiculous...

Is there anybody calling for running him out of town? I know I think he was a ******* and entirely responsible for what happened but the only reason I could see him sitting even a game over this is if Fred does it to send a message to everybody who transfers to Iowa State as a last chance that they have to act accordingly. And there's just about zero chance he sits more than a couple games.

As a current student you are the one that is wrong. I don't go out much in fact I go out very little, and most people go out multiple times a week. (Thursday-Saturday)

I don't think there are many or even any who want to run him over it. Just that it's disappointing/frustrating/worrisome given what the details are about repeated problems and not much in the way of apparent change.

I think it depends on how it was handled internally. If the first time CFH was involved BDJ was just told to cut it out then I don't think you just jump to a suspension. You do some actual internal punishment, like losing a starting role. So far I haven't seen anything that looks like BDJ has been in a punishment scenario during games, so I'd say there are a few more steps to take before suspension.

Listening to KXNO....these two goobers are salivating over rationalizing why BDJ should be suspended. Best was saying he was kicked out of UNLV. Umm.....he graduated j/a.

Why am I not surprised by where "BigBake" stands on this? Just FYI, BDJ was suspended from the basketball team at UNLV. He was not kicked out of school.
