On 12/11/14 the Ames Police Department received a complaint of people being loud while playing video games at 1221 Mayfield Dr. #310. The caller
also stated that people were banging on his wall from #310.
I responded to the apartment and noticed loud voices from inside as I walked down the hallway. I could distinguish approx. 3 male voices

inside the apartment. I knocked on the door and DEJEAN-JONES identified himself as a resident. Two other males were with him. While I spoke with
DEJEAN-JONES I could smell a strong odor of burnt marijuana coming from inside the apartment.
A search warrant was executed at the residence and a small amount of marijuana was found scattered on a dresser. There were multiple blunt
packages on the living room table along with ashes from smoking.
