I think there is a "The Dog House" sign that hands on Greene's dorm room door. He seems to always be having some type of issues; late or missed practices or workouts, etc... Word is that he got into a shouting match with Self after the Michigan State game about his limited role in the game. Haven't heard it officially but it wouldn't surprise me if the suspension is based on that alleged incident.6 games sounds like a lot, has he been in the dog house before with Self?
Or it was this: "@jessenewell It will all become clear once you read KUAC drug policy. 4th offense = 6 games. — Paul Gowen (@pdxjayhawk) November 20, 2015"I think there is a "The Dog House" sign that hands on Greene's dorm room door. This dude has four drug offenses in just over two years and is still on the team?
Billy must really want #12 so he can go for the John Wooden record next year.
If you don't think that a healthy percentage of players on every D1 team in the country are smoking pot then you are not paying attention to the world we live in.This dude has four drug offenses in just over two years and is still on the team? From Korie Lucious: " I was smoking I don’t want to tell a lot of people that but I was smoking a lot of weed at Michigan State. Thats the real reason I got kicked off the team and I let my mom, family and friends down. To be honest Michigan State was a great program I’m not taking anything from Coach Izzo or the team but that wasn’t the place for me to be. Coach Izzo playing for him it wasn’t the yelling or anything it was the fact he just didn’t respect my game. Coach Izzo used to always call me an “And-1″ player like even if I dribbled in between my legs and he would just yell at me and say “this isn’t And-1 Streetballâ€. I mean it was to the point I couldn’t shoot floaters or do nothing there man and he just put me in the position only to be a 3 point shooter and didn’t let me showcase my true talent."Didnt Izzo kick out Lucious and Allen for first or second offense? yeesh thats sad that FOUR offenses is suspended for 1/6 of a season

Every team is allowed to create their own drug and alcohol policies so we'll never know. Maybe a ton of them, maybe none of them. How many of them are dumb enough to get busted four times?

Doesn't sound like either was on their first offense when booted: “I probably let them down,†Izzo said. “Everybody lets everybody down. But first of all, I thought it was ridiculous that now we’re reporting on websites, you know? I guess that’s the way it’s turned, that’s what I was told. But I didn’t talk to Korie. I talked to Chris a lot. Because Chris has left, he’s matured a little bit, he’s grown up and tried to come back and apologize for things.†“[T]here are certain things coaches can’t say,†he continued. “There’s certain things that, coaches put up with a lot. Just like parents do. I mean, nobody throws their kid under the bus if he makes a mistake. But if the kid repeats the same mistake over and over, then it’s not a mistake, it’s a habit. When it becomes a habit, those things are hard to handle.â€Didnt Izzo kick out Lucious and Allen for first or second offense? yeesh thats sad that FOUR offenses is suspended for 1/6 of a season

And by all accounts it sounds like Greene falls into that category. The good news is that at least Self will be forced to give Svi a good chunk of minutes to see what he can do. Should make for an entertaining Maui Classic. Think of all the great Hawaiian pot that Greene will miss out on!but that doesnt take away their responsibility to not get caught...i gotta think it takes a special kind of stupid to get caught 4 times
