Wisconsin pretty much played 7 most games last year, 8 at the most...not uncommon at allYep Tuco acts like Iowa State is the first team in the history of college bball to play an 8 man rotation. 8 is perfect in my mind unless you're Kentucky running 10 all Americans out there. Not worried about running up these so called miles. They are 20 year old men they can handle playing 35 basketball games.

Man, come on,.you can't go off stats alone ( when you aren't starting, you often don't get enough attempts of time to fully get in a rhythm shooting during games ),.... 40% is pretty damn good, and he has 2 years left to get better. I don't cheer for. Any Jayhawks, but I have seen the kid shoot and he has a beautiful shot.....Self has said he is the best shooter he has ever coached, and like it or not, that is a big compliment. The guy made 40 3's last season and shot 40%. There's a lot of players out there with similar numbers, lots of players doesn't = elite

The kid is a good shooter but elite is for a select few and he does not fit that mold. Naz has put up similar or better numbers and he's not an elite shooter IMO.
Also if he's such an elite shooter he'd play more, it's not like he has a lot in front of him. Look at Tyrus, he couldn't guard me but he played a ton because he was the definition of an elite shooter.
Beat KU twice last year. Liabilities seemed okay thenSelf and Hoiberg look at the game differently, that is your answer ( no surprise Cyclone D has been our Achilles) ...also, KU has a roster loaded with talent so if a guy is a liability outside of shooting, he doesn't get a ton of minutes...we haven't been able to afford to take that stance in the past ( and that may correlate to why we have not won as many games as KU ). Hopefully that changes...
as as far as "elite", that is subjective word and I don't think either of us can speak in an absolute...it's all opinion and we abviously don't share one..
Our team the last two years was a hell of a lot better than the one McGee was on....keep up with the conversation....and if you think KU took a big step back this year, I don't think you understand basketball.....we are in for a dogfight in the B12, one we can win, but KU is very good, and possibly great if they get Diallo somewhat soon and can get him up to speed...Beat KU twice last year. Greene is an elite 3pt shooter. Don't why people can't admit that
Yeah no. It's obvious you don't watch early basketball most seasons. KU is expected to have best team they've had since 2012 with or without Diallo.I'm just glad KU took a big step back this year.

And had to have his hip sewn back together at the end of the season. Ask Naz Long if he was at 100% playing with a torn labrum. The guy made 40 3's last season and shot 40%. There's a lot of players out there with similar numbers, lots of players doesn't = elite
Last year they lost in the Champions Classic by 32 so technically only losing by 6 is an improvement, right? Therefore, KU must be better....I'm just glad KU took a big step back this year.
No, it's not abnormal at all. It is just a bit abnormal to have only 2 of them be taller than 6'6".
