Thinking about make the plunge. Usually go to a couple of the big games each year but get lower level tix. Factoring in cost of lower level tix by doing that twice I'm paying close to half of what season tix in those section would cost.

Check the season ticket prices in the lower parts of the upper deck, between the 20’s. I think those seat views are the best in the stadium.
If I could choose any seat in the stadium, give me front row of the upper deck on the 50.

Back when the student section was larger and you could virtually sit anywhere you wanted, the 50 yard line about 5-8 rows up was definitely the best seat.

Totally agree but also something cool about be down close however down there I spend most the game watching via the big screens.

I got tickets to the OU game a few years back (Thursday night game) from a seasoned vet on here. 50 yd line in the first row back row against the press/suite box. Those were pretty solid too.

Season tickets in sections I'm looking at is $325, Tickets in sections you are talking about are $499. Looks like I will sitting lower than higher.

Is it cheaper to piece together tickets adhoc during the year outside of Iowa?

During those 2-10 years with only 6 home games in sure it was cheaper. In fact, if you simply knew a guy going to the game chances are you could land a ticket to any of the final few games for as cheap as... free.

We kept our four seats in section 23, we are 20 rows up at the end. No one walking in front of us or having to get up and down the whole game. I think it was $ 460 with the seat backs, but I am not really sure. Hell I just ordered them and pay them off over 3 months. Last year the oldest son even paid for his ticket, now to just get the son in law to do the same and I will be set.
