Fran and Brent don't take themselves too seriously which I appreciate. They entertain and they certainly know as much or more about the teams and the game than the B teamers that we've had in years past.

I said the same thing about Royce white. He started the year at 6'6. Then he went to 6'7, 6'8, and I actually heard a 6'9 a couple of times by ncaa tourney time. When I met him in person there's no way he was a shade over 6'6. Possibly even 6'5. I'm 6'2 and he wasn't that much taller than me. His hands were ginormous. That wasn't an exaggeration.

I took a pic of Royce and my buddy and my buddy is a legit 6-5 - Royce was several inches taller. Looked a legit 6-7 or 6-8 to me. If I find the pic, I'll post it.

Loved the double flop by marcus against Kane. The 230 pounder gets knocked over with a whisp of air, then he sees Kane going for it, so he tries to get up to flop again and then he is called for a foul. Classic.

On the OSU forum they're all convinced that should have been a foul on Kane (the contact that was actually called on Smart).

When people see basketball players in public they aren't standing straight up like their height is being measured for a physical. Nobody walks around like that, they would look like they had a stick up their ***. I would think they naturally have their head/shoulders a little down because they're always looking down to talk to people.

Way up there
Raftery is doing games on the new network.

Raf is the best but he's a Big East guy from way back so its no surprise to see him follow that conference. The only good thing about missing out on Raf is we don't have to hear Gus Johnson pretend like he knows whats going on, he's the play by play equivalent to the weather guy from Anchorman. He just senses excitement and screams, being around Raf does seem to have tempered him though. He turns on his act depending on who he is paired with

No I was agreeing. Commenting on the prople who say stuff like "I am 6'2 and Hoiberg isn't any taller". I'm sure in the pic Royce is standing straight because he was next to someone who was tall.
