We are your padawans. What are your go to strains?

I’m kind of on a trip back through the classics right now. Durban for a sativa, GG4 for indica. I don’t really **** around with hybrid strains. I either want to live or I want to die.

I prefer liquid live resin carts for intake. Flavor is amazing.

I had to quit drinking completely when I was 29(13 years ago). Got pancreatitis and detoxed on morphine in the hospital. I was a ******* mess. I cant believe it got that out of control. I never drank again. I'd been to rehab a few times, had a few dui's and everything. Weed is a better option if its legal.
One of my closest friends just past away from renal failure during an operation on his esophagus related to his drinking. His liver couldn't process alcohol and he wasn't supposed to drink any longer. Only 37. Really sad. Glad you made it out.

I LOL'ed at a cattle producer on twitter that posted how much time he spends figuring out rations down to the micronutrient for his herd, meanwhile he had a sleeve of Oreos for lunch.

That really doesn't surprise me at all. Shouldn't do it but easy to do

3-4 times. But most times these days it’s just one old fashioned or a couple good beers.

Still tie one on sometimes though. Just had a two day bender on a trip to New Orleans. Damn, it just gets harder and harder to recover from those.

What I'm noticing is there's a lot of alcoholics on this board. 7 nights a week? Really? I'll admit, when I was younger, getting soused on the weekends was one of my priorities in life and sometimes it was more than just the weekends, but I found as I got older and started having kids, drinking became less and less important to me. Eventually, I went from making the beer aisle my first stop in a grocery store to where I never even think about it anymore. If I have a drink anymore, it's just one and it's usually an afterthought. "Oh, they have beer here?" Or, "oh, they make bloody Mary's here?" I mean the party's gotta stop some time, right?
Alcoholics very rarely have 1-2 and then stop so I would disagree with you that there’s lots of alcoholics posting in this thread. I’m saying this as an alcoholic myself (sober 5 years).

Man, so glad you came out the other side of this. My Dad was absolute on deaths doorstep from drinking 20 years ago and has been sober since. Though I like a beer or two most nights, I never binge and always dry out for a few days just to make sure I can.

Crazy thing is he almost died, but that didn’t get him to stop. Getting a DUI and spending a few weeks in a halfway house did the trick.

CF is old, man...

I think it has to do with a lot of us getting older now and realizing our bodies are going to sh*t (and maybe some wisdom that's been gained through life experiences).

I think it's hitting the younger gens too. I see it come up more frequently than I would imagine with friends being non drinkers. Celebrities making it a bit "cool" as well. Christy Teigen and Blake Lively come to mind. I do enjoy that Blake has a whole mixers/NA business while Ryan has a liquor line.

The poll never said anything about 1-2 drinks a night. I was just seeing the guys who voted for 5-6 and 7 nights a week.

Guessing he was referring to the actual responses in the thread. Vast majority who claim to drink multiple nights a week said it's typically 1-2 per night.

I know people who drink every day but rarely have more than 2. I wouldn’t call them alcoholics.

Alcoholics are people who either are completely incapable of stopping drinking once they start, or can’t stop/back off booze in the face of negative consequences that resulted from drinking.

I always have felt like crap after drinking. Heartburn, I don’t do well with not being in control, nausea, headaches after even one. I just can’t do it, and so never built up a tolerance. There are a few family issues with addiction in my side of the family tree, too, so I naturally just stay away. I don’t find the payoffs to be worth the downsides in my case.

It me. I'm usually a 2 beer a night kinda guy. One to keep me company while I do work stuff, one to enjoy a video game, or perhaps a football game on TV, or **** maybe even because I'm a grown ass man and I can do whatever I'd like.
