Under 6 wins - Fire him
6 wins over the 6 worst teams on our schedule and getting embarrassed in a bowl - Fire him
7+ wins - Keep him
Basically, if he finally has us competing with the top teams in the conference and gets to a bowl keep him around. We don't need to beat Baylor, TCU, or Oklahoma and we don't need to be in the conference title race, but we need to at least look competitive. No losing to UNI, no losing to Kansas, no 40 point losses. It's year 7. Most places aren't this nice about failure as we have been with Rhoads. We need to look like we we are going somewhere, which is why I would fire him for scenario 2.
