I almost forgot about that. Lol that was awkward.as long as he never talks on the Jumbotron at a football game ever again, that was cringe earlier this year.

I assume this is a type-o?In zero way am I saying they’re world beaters but Kennesaw State retuned like 95% of their minutes and points from last year AND William Small is on that staff so I’m sure he was able to help prep that group.
That being said good teams win, great teams cover. TJ is 0-1 where it counts
Tough might be a stretch, but they were competent. Also very quick and aggressive. They were not some garbage team that doesn't know what they are doing. More of a test that I expected. That team is tough.
This thread feels like I’m listening to a guy talk about going on a first date and then declaring he’s going to marry the girl…let’s give it a little more time and go on a couple more dates shall we…?

Even if this would go bad this thread wouldn’t really be wrong. The team indisputably looked a lot better. They are still going to struggle a lot this year but they looked a lot like Fred’s first year. There was just a different mentality with the team. Is it going to be ultimately successful who knows but the signs are there for this to be much better.I badly want this to be true since it's the path of least resistance towards Cyclone basketball being back.
That being said, if he turns out to be a flop I can see this thread being bumped for years to come

Don’t take life so seriously, man. #TJ4prezThis thread feels like I’m listening to a guy talk about going on a first date and then declaring he’s going to marry the girl…let’s give it a little more time and go on a couple more dates shall we…?
Sure, but a team that returned many from last year and included a couple of transfers that would likely play for many in P6. I actually thought that it was a great team to play in the first game, not some lay down in the gutter sacrifice. It was Kennesaw State.
I think they showed a graphic where they returned 95% of their scoring from last year.Too lazy to look--did they have a lot back from last year?
Ya and they had fire in their bellies. Great first opponent.Sure, but a team that returned many from last year and included a couple of transfers that would likely play for many in P6. I actually thought that it was a great team to play in the first game, not some lay down in the gutter sacrifice.
