On the broadcast against BYU, Fran Fraschilla literally said “I’m not sure we’re going to see Keshon in an ISU uniform again” due to the injury. This was always a possibility, and maybe a likelihood depending on how bad the injury is.

To a.) be surprised by this and b.) start to conspire theories about it is going full CF.

Because coaches (especially the current ones at ISU) are known for telling the truth in “injury” situations.
Campbell lies midseason, this isn’t even that. It’s a definitive statement, whether or not it’s to everyone’s satisfaction. What precedent is there that Otz is lying about an attitude or commitment issue? I don’t think there were leaks, but there was no tiptoeing around the Grill dismissal. They ripped the Band-Aid off

Seems weird that the staff didn’t rest him in the regular season so that he would heal if it is a quad strain that’s lasted 2.5 months.

Is there any actual information indicated that they aren't?

You can only tell half truth so long before people just completely stop believing you.

Do I think Keshon is hurt? Yea I could buy that. Do I think there is something else? I could buy that too. But I also remember when Caleb Grill was out “due to injury” and was off the team a week later.

Because you don’t earn a 3 seed by holding guys out who are banged up—which is everyone. The NCAA tournament is what teams are remembered for, but the regular season is still of immense importance. Maybe they should’ve held him out some time before Houston, I don’t know. But it’s a false dichotomy that had they held him out two weeks in January that he would’ve been a spring chicken on March 16

Keshon said in an interview it is a pulled groin. I have pulled mine twice, each time it was 6 weeks. But I didn't have a D1 training staff rehabbing me and getting me high tech treatments.

Strange to announce this Gilbert news today???
no reason to give the committee a reason to dock you. A training staff is going to have plausible deniability in 99% of cases as far as when they reach verdicts on players’ availability. I can easily argue it’d be even stranger to announce today if it were an attitude/chemistry issue. See the Grill situation
