If anyone doesn't know what I am talking about when I say team sheets, you can download them here. They are sheets the committee is privided to compare teams. I think they are really interesting to look at and provide some insight into what gets emphasized. Just pick teams sheets and selection to get the most up to date.

I've been searching for in-depth game analysis, and haven't found much other than this so far.

http://sportzedge.com/2016/03/13/ncaa-tournament-predictions-iowa-state-vs-iona/

"PREDICTION:
This might be the worst possible matchup Iona could have seen in the first round, as they’re playing a team that loves to push the tempo as much as they do, and one that remembers the sting of losing as a highly-seeded team in the first round last year. If this were say, California, Maryland or Indiana, we could advise picking the upset. But we can’t quite see it against the Cyclones. Look for Iowa State to redeem itself from last year’s first-round flameout, and perhaps advance to the Sweet 16 before it succumbs to Virginia."

They can't out-Iowa State Iowa State. I'm glad we don't play a slow, grind it out team again.

I was going to post something similar. I think this is a great matchup for us. They won't be able to slow us down on offense and they can't beat us on the boards like a Baylor or WVU type. Play at the pace we are comfortable with and force them to slow it down a bit and lock down on their shooters.

And to save everyone time I'll do the obligatory counter argument.... But UAB!

I would feel better about this if I knew where Tom Eades would be on Thursday. Hopefully not working as a referee anywhere.

I think our guys absolutely blow Iona out of the water.

Purdue could easily lose to UALR, I might actually be more worried about UALR than Purdue.

I think a Purdue game could be interesting though, they are big but I am not sure that helps them much. Who is going to guard Niang? How the hell do they possibly guard us? I think we could outscore Purdue and win that game. Will be close, but I think our guys could get it done.

The Monte injury is the swing factor though.

I wonder if Prohm will play more zone in this game, or maybe a partial zone with Thomas man on English. May be a way to save a little energy in the high altitude.

You'll want it to be a perimeter based zone which is kind of worthless. They have two good and one really good shooter out there.
