Looking at these beauties. Did we actually use to have more mustard yellow or is it just the old photos darkening the colors?
I love the mustard yellow. So much better than the bright yellow we use now.

The gold was definitely darker at times in the past, it was also brighter/lighter at others too. Just as the Cardinal has varied over the years, so has the Gold.

That being said, photos and lighting, as well as different screens and settings can really make things look different than they are too.

The gold pants look great, especially with the red socks - & gold over white numbers is absolutely the superior look

Huh? Our current MBB uniforms are rock solid. Outside of the stupid “I-State” logo on the yellow jersey, they are overall about as solid as it gets. The side striping is really good too. It’s unique and isn’t a stock template, yet isn’t overly weird or busy. Our home whites with the yellow “Cyclones” across the chest are pretty damn good, as good as anything we’ve ever had with Nike.

This uniform combo is GREAT absolutely slays in the sun, but I think it'll look equally good under the lights

Really good mix of modern & traditional/"old school"

I would prefer gold numbers with a white stroke, but the white over yellows looks very sharp itself

Lighting is key. And contrasting colors of the jersey package as a whole. The Cardinal on this latest Nike set is the exact same shade we’ve had for many years.
