Not touching it, don't bet on many away games in basketball since you never really know. I do think BYU will win though

Well I did find out from this site, that if Haws doesn't play, ISU will win by 10+, so that could be some easy money for ya.

Haha, I learned my lesson after the Drake game two years ago. Surprised my house didn't go into foreclosure

Who cares about RPI? Everyone knows that's outdated and doesn't matter...KenPom, Sagarian, NY2LASports.com, ESPN's BPI, etc are way better sources to judge teams plus my eye test is never wrong (did I do that right?)

If any of those ratings would actually watch the games they would know le Hoks were easily one of the best 32 teams in the country last year and getting 2nd place in the NIT proved that....somehow.

Seriously? I mean It's not like Iowa plays in the big ten... Lets take a look at some of Iowa States home schedules over the last few years and compare?

Also, I didnt take out Hoiberg's first year because it was pretty good so I figured they'd want it included.

Iowa played the easy part of the Big 10 schedule last year. They were able to dodge playing some of the tough teams twice. Last year the Big 12 had 5 tournament teams and another that was loaded with talent (and Iowa fans know about that team). Iowa State had to play all of those teams twice. I'm not saying the Big 12 is better than the Big 10, what I am saying is Iowa got away without going through it the hard way.

It's especially pathetic when you realize that there may be no school in a BCS conference who has benefitted from an easy schedule than ******* iowa football.

All of these moron hawk fans (whoa redundancy), try their little brains out to pretend that big ten fb has been even average the last 15 years. But then whine and complain because they have such a tough bb conference, of course they played the easiest schedule possible last year but that is beside the point.

There really is not a more hypocritical fanbase than these moron hawks. The first to cast stones, when they do as much bad ****, if not more, than other schools.

and to add to that, the Big 10 has only been tough in bb for a couple of years. The Big10 had a lot of down years in BB while the Big 12 was freaking loaded for most of the last 10 years. Now the Big 12 is not very good except at the top. The Big 10 is strong and very deep this year. These things go in cycles.

Even missing some of the good teams twice, Iowa's conference SOS was basically the same as ISU. It is always funny to me when ISU fan knocks Iowa's schedule, when it was the same as ISU.

Now this year it won't even be close. ISU plays 3 teams in the Big12 with a pulse. Just showing up should net ISU 12 wins in conference, the Big 12 is really weak this year.

Conference SOS being the same but we got 3 more wins is the reasoning.

we aren't really saying ours was tougher, we just refute that yours was tougher, and we had more wins with a schedule that was just as tough..

Most Hawk fans, well I should say all fans understand that the BIG was way tougher than the Big12. Yet since it is an unbalanced schedule, Iowa's schedule wasn't as difficult, and was really only as tough as a Big12 conference schedule. It is just funny when ISU fan calls the BIG an easy conference is all, since it was obviously a much stronger conference than the Big12

Your schedule last year was weak. In the Big 10, you played a lot of crap teams twice, and good teams once.

Classic Hok argument talking SOS vs. ISU without a clue. RoseBowl should look at how many NCAA tourney teams ISU and Iowa played last year. Oh yeah, and the Hoks get a bonus one by playing ISU.
