Iowa is good no doubt about it. I still don't think for a second they will beat us in Hilton but that isn't taking anything away from them we are better IMO and it just don't really lose at home anymore.
I have to admit I am a little nervous about their second unit pressing us. We were pretty sloppy with the ball against UMKC press (early on, got better after a few minutes) and even worse against BYU at the end of the game. Fortunately most of the mistakes at the end of the BYU game were made by two freshman guards by telegraphing passes and not pass faking at all.
Agreed. They have the depth and length to press, and Monte didn't look comfortable the other night (nor Thomas).
I'm not that worried about our starters, because with our lineup of bigs, we shouldn't have too much problem against the press, but when Kane's not in there, we may struggle.
Iowa's best offense is related to TO's. Last year, we turned it over a ton and that's why we were out classed.
So far this year we've been much better at taking care of the ball. We need to continue that against Iowa or we'll lose.
