Anyone seen 5.2 yet? I checked yesterday and there was no signal. I hope they fire it up a few hours before hand or I will be getting nervous.

I beleive you have to use your antenna to get 5.2 Thats how we get all our digital channels, there is only one local option through dish, and picture quality is terrible, way better over antenna and in HD when available.

I think you people need to reset your OTAs through your satellite receiver. I've had 5.2 up on my VIP722 for quite awhile. Either that or plug the antenna directly into the television.

5.2 is not broadcasting in HD, however. But I don't expect this game to be broadcast in HD anyway.

I've reset my OTA through my DTV box and 5.2 is not coming up.

Also, prior to the game on Saturday at our tailgate, we had a digital TV with antenna only and we only could get 5.1. There was no 5.2.

I have a feeling we won't see 5.2 until Saturday for those of us with OTA.

I guess I don't know what I'm doing special. But right now, I am watching "The View" (barf) on 5.1 (in HD) and 5.2 (not in HD) with an OTA.

I would say something is up with the firmware on your DTV box, but you say that you didn't get it at your tailgate with the antenna directly plugged into the TV.

Yes...all we had at the game was the TV and antenna and I specifically checked on Saturday to see if we could get 5.2 and no deal. We got 5.1 and 8.1, 8.2, etc etc, but no 5.2.

odd.

In Omaha I expect the Oklahoma game to be No.1on ABC, not the dregs from the East.

Are you using an amplifier on your antenna? The only thing I can think of is that 5.2 is weak compared to 5.1. I am using an antenna with an amplifier.

Megamall location to watch game

So I promised the family to take them shopping at the megamall this weekend. Anyone know of a place in that mall where I could catch some of the game or am I going to be only finding IL vs. EIU up there. Thanks for any suggestions!

Joe Sensor's in Bloomington isn't far from the mall. Tell the fam that you're going to the bathroom, and get "lost" for a while.
