Why is that important - the kid/family already has a target on their back.
Never stated it was important or lead on to that.

I’m concerned for the kid and family and was interested in if they got “far away enough” from the situation.

The whole situation is BS and makes me angry.

We’ll that a lot of things… scary included.
True story: when Blume won as a freshman, the following week I spoke to a college coach who asked me about who I thought looked good at the tournament.

I told him Garvin and I thought this freshman kid from RS moved as well as anyone down there.

College coach said’”Blume? No thanks. The kids bad news.”

Apparently the families reputation is well known for many years

He left the district, where too I dont know. Probably South Hamilton, Gilbert, Nevada? Who knows
I grew up in the general area is why I asked.

It should’ve never happened to the victim and the offender needs to be punished.

I wonder if it was a female that he assaulted would the penalty be the same?? Would the school district still have the same punishment??
We all know how the world works. It should make no difference whether male or female in theory.

In reality it doesn’t always work out that way.

From the outside looking in, this is a weak school board and administration and whether it’s a boy or girl I’m not sure the outcome would be any different with Blume.

He needs kicked off the ******* team for felony assault.
**** him, his parent's and the administration of Roland Story.
We let to many *star* athletes get away with ********.
I've seen it all over southwest Iowa with these coaches and Ad's.
It's time for parent's and kids to be ******* responsible.
Dumb me all you want. Wait till something happens to your kid.
Andrew Long and 4 time state champ Jake Marlin were absolutely pieces of **** from Creston.

Shoving a pencil in another kids ass is disgusting and psycho. The fact that he’s still on the team is weird and a bad look for the school.

Not exactly sure.
If I'm an opposing coach, I forfeit each match against the kid. I understand you are punishing one of your wrestlers, but if this kid loves wrestling, take it away from him by forfeiting. If the school won't do something, you can. He can go to every meet and just sit there. Let him forfeit his way to the top, because if he wins more trophies, there will be an asterisk next to it.
Take a medical forfeit so it doesn't count as a loss at least for your kid. Then let people hear about this kid no one will wrestle.

In that case I would feel completely different.

But as an uninformed party to this I’m still good with innocence until proven guilty. But now that he’s pled guilty, eff him .
He admitted to it to get tried as a juvenile and pled guilty. They knew this but used the not on school grounds excuse, then the policy of missing 20% of the sport BS.
