True story: when Blume won as a freshman, the following week I spoke to a college coach who asked me about who I thought looked good at the tournament.
I told him Garvin and I thought this freshman kid from RS moved as well as anyone down there.
College coach said’”Blume? No thanks. The kids bad news.”

Where is he at these days? Creston had some stellar teams when they had him and Jake Marlin. Jake used to work for Baker Electric.
Take a medical forfeit so it doesn't count as a loss at least for your kid. Then let people hear about this kid no one will wrestle.
He admitted to it to get tried as a juvenile and pled guilty. They knew this but used the not on school grounds excuse, then the policy of missing 20% of the sport BS.
Last I saw he was getting arrested downtown Des Moines for inference with official acts, public intox, etc etc a number of years ago.
There is a school in Eldora that should consider Kade. Don't believe there is a wrestling team, however....
Jake Marlin has never been arrested. He is one of the nicest kids I have ever met. He is happily married and a father of two children. Where do you people get this crap? He went o the same high school as Andrew Long so he is all of the sudden part of Long's crimes?
