I've been upset after games and have been critical of certain things but to be constantly negative and immediately jump to all the negatives when the team is playing pretty well and the game is a few days away is just next level.
I hear you man.

It takes a special kind of person to go on message boards and spread toxic negativity at every single turn. In those cases you’re usually dealing with a person that is not happy or lost in life. I’ve always viewed it as a cry for help more than anything.

As the saying goes, how you do one thing is how you do everything.

If you can’t control it, just ignore it.

If QB runs are KU's best offense I like ISU's chances.

Hopefully the opportunities are there and hit for ISU when they have the ball.

I don't think it's their best offense, rather it can (and probably should) be a weapon for them. They are adept at running the ball in general and think they will be able to do so against us. Our rushing defensive numbers look really good but we've done that against mostly crap competition. KU is really only the second good offensive team we've played (OSU is rounding in to form but we caught them at the perfect time) and suspect this will be a game where we get gashed on the ground.

I think we will have our opps offensively and think Rocco will have chances to hit big plays. But will he? It's the one area of his game, relative to the rest, that's been somewhat disappointing. I also suspect we will have one of our better (if not the best) rushing performances of the season.

Can you point to one non-negative post? No. You can't. You're a miserable human.

Using a game thread, of all things, as proof? Most posts in the game thread are "negative" and that's not just isolated to myself.

Well, as long as that one DB isn't Surges, who doesn't belong on the field.

Not a fan of only rushing 3 and (potentially) having one guy as a safety valve. That's giving QBs way too much time to throw and a guy like Bean a LOT of space. Would rather do a 4-1-6 if that's going to be the case. Regardless the less Lbs we have on the field, the better.

Purchase better be ******* ready to tackle this week. The efforts on Saturday were ******* embarrassing.
Purchase's effort was really weird. Was he straight up scared to tackle Pendergrass? He usually does not shy away from tackling and I would normally consider him to be strong in run support.

How is saying our LBs suck (which they do) being negative? Where is all of this negativity you speak of.

I'm just honest. For the record I think this game is a relative pick 'em (as most experts also suggest) and think it will be a high scoring game so long as weather doesn't play a factor. I think it's ******* hilarious how some (like yourself) focus on only my negative comments without ever admitting I'm hardly always negative. STs have been great, secondary is great, and the skill positions have been positive/improving. OL is still below average but showing some signs of unit improvement.

But hey, focus on my comments about our very subpar LBs and meh DL. Coming into the year I thought there was a much high chance we'd win 2-3 games rather than 6-7. But here we are, likely to win 6 with a decent shot at winning 7. If by the grace of god we win more than that it's a bonus.

But hey, whatever.
Maybe you should reflect on the bolded, and stop telling everybody else "how it really is".

An example of unwarranted negativity: I mentioned that we switched to a 3-1-7 on 3rd down and long. You responded by saying "as long as the DB isn't Surges"...

You decided to take a shot at one of our players right off the bat instead of addressing the strategy itself.

Rumor flying around is Daniels is entertaining NIL offers elsewhere.... possibly sitting to stay healthy for more $. Not sure how bad his back is. Also hearing Leipold may be leaving as well, depending on job openings.
Daniels is making a ton on NIL now and will play this year but I don't think it will be this week. He's just not ready yet. I bet it's next week. Leipold is currently making 5 mill and probably will get another raise this year and KU has a very good NIL program LL is taking advantage of. Plus he's had a hand in the new stadium. Unless some monster job that is considered top 10 offers, I don't think he's going anywhere. My pic is ISU on Saturday. KU struggles on the road and ISU is extremely tough at home at night games. Should be a good one, much better than some decades ago when both teams were not good.

Why would daniels not just redshirt? Hes worth more in NIL if he has more eligibility

He already has a year left. He wants to play in the NFL. He needs to have a year that he can stay healthy. Hopefully next year.
Yes but if he redshirts then he has an additional year...

He is not a good enough passer to play in the NFL

He has a 74.7 completion % 5 TD's , 1 pic and a huge arm. If he can stay healthy next year and with almost everyone returning he could put up huge numbers. His problem is he hasn't been able to stay healthy.

Daniels has played his last snap in a jayhawks uniform. If he doesnt come back this year, he will transfer.

Ah, yes. I forgot how all decent college QB's have success in the NFL...

I know folks are hoping for the black uniforms Saturday night, but I'd love to see our guys bust out the Jack Trice uniforms again. This is the Trice anniversary year and it would be great to get some Trice exposure on national TV. Also, I know Mr. Trice would be smiling down upon our guys, so we might get a few favorable bounces.
