Looks like we we'll be seeing the 2 or 3 TE sets a LOT in the future too. How else can you get all these stud TE's the playing time they deserve?

After this season we'll have a TE room of....

Easton Dean
Tyler Moore
DeShawn Hanika (don't sleep on this guy)
Andrew Keller
Gabe Burkle

That's insane!
Just my opinion, but the walk-on RS FR. Israel Taylor from Davenport Central is under the radar, too. Was a 220 lb moderately athletic wide receiver in high school, now listed as a 260 lb tight end. If he retains most of his athleticism at that weight, he could have a role someday. His high school film has some acrobatic catches.

I’ll probably get accused of being a Hok troll, but i’ll Say it anyway. Iowa does a very good job of evaluating prospects before they offer. Sometimes they’re slow and deliberate, and thus lose out on some good prospects because they are late to the game. Once Iowa offers, other schools are quick to offer because they know that the prospect is a quality recruit.

So the fact that ISU beat Iowa on this one says a lot about Keller.

Correct. They are deliberate to the point of offering kids immediately after we do.
