Great news. I was reading the phog(KU board) a couple weeks ago. The main writer said that one of the main scouts thought that Lynn was one of the most underrated players in the country. I'll see if I can find the actual quote when I get time (probably tonight).

"If you're talking sleepers, the cornerback from Texas KU got from ISU is a HUGE sleeper. Kenny Lynn. I know our midlands recruiting manager here at Scout, Greg Powers, thinks he might be the best overall player in KU's class and is severely underrated."-PittsburghJayhawk

Haha, aparently we just stole (back) KU's best recruit.

I've heard he's really good. I don't know if he's KU's best recruit, they have a very good class coming, but he would have helped it.

He looks pretty good and he's bigger than the others.

The question I have is if the Scout manager thinks he's so underrated, then why is he? I mean shouldn't they have some control over that?

I'm thrilled to have him back! Sends an awesome message to our current recruits. Now let's get Kyle back!

This. I want Boyd. Heck with Baylor Kyle...you know you want to be a Clone.

4.45 and 30" is still pretty incredible for a HSer. 4.45 and 36" is amazing.

Well I didn't like this quote "I'm going to call the Kansas coaches tonight and tell them I'm going to ISU." C'mon man, tell the coaches before a scout site.

A 30" vertical is actually pretty poor for a db. I bet it's higher.
You saying saying JVB can't jump? He can do 30 inches.

For this fellow, he can go higher. It probably is 36 inches.

This means KU still has the last shot at him.

KU doesn't have a chance. What are they going to sell him on now? The fact that he can't be in the presence of a woman after 10pm? What is this.... a Jr. High formal down in Lawrence? What a joke.

That rule was in place before Lynn originally committed to KU. And they are getting better recruits than us after having that rule in place.
Lawyered!

He must not have been aware of it at the time he had originally committed. The High Priest (Turner Gill) must have let him know after he committed and now he is leaving. Either that or he watched a highlight tape of KU football from this past season..... it was the best 15 second highlight tape ever made from what I have heard.

KU has to have the lowest entry requirements in the world. Pierson was basically a non-qualifier at Mizzou. He decommitted, but they didn't want him back, and he somehow ends up at KU. Darrian Miller had serious looks from Iowa, who needed 2 RBs, and they pulled his offer, and no other school other than his initial choice jumped in. There is something going on with these two great recruits. Other than those, their class looks like ours.
