Haha...Baylor. It's one thing when we lose a guy to Tech somewhere like that but Baylor? He has now made his bed. I liked the kid and thought he had a lot of potential. We do have two other LBers in this class so I'm not incredibly worried from a numbers standpoint. I just don't understand the decision when he committed in June. Baylor? Seriously? That's the worst part.

Ha.....enjoy your time in Waco, kid. How pathetic.....losing supposedly committed recruits to freaking Baylor.

On a side note... i go to baylorfans to see what they might be saying about this.. and theyre talking about a possible new stadium?

I've had a feeling that something like this might happen when you consider that he committed to us back in June, and he didn't schedule a visit until the middle of January.

Anyone who feels 'honored and privileged' to play at Baylor is obviously suffering from serious head trauma.

You guys do realize that baylor was in the top 25 last year and played in a bowl game and we didn't right?

Exactly....im not sure why everyone bashin on Baylor they have an equal program to ISU in many ways and they're current class of 18 commits includes 1-4*, 16-3* and 1-2*....

Anytime your recruiting a kid from Texas and and a texas school comes calling your gonna run the risk of losing him to play in the same conference only closer to home and a heck of a lot warmer....its gonna happen....

None of us including the coaches or the coaches of Baylor know if this kid will equal anything....i'd rather lose him now with a couple of weeks to go then on signing day like we did hubert.....

Personally, i'd rather have a scholarship or two to still sign a few HS Dl that we can allow to come up through the system and develop. Our DL depth in the next year or two is in worse shape then the LB corp....

LB Kyle Boyd who committed to us back in June switched to Baylor tonight.

Kyle Boyd - Yahoo! Sports

He commited to Us in June when it was hotter the the blue blazes of hell in TX and commited to Baylor when it was colder than a well diggers *** in Iowa. But I guess you can't really call it a commitment since it wasn't honored. Iowa State doesn't need kids that don't have honor.

First off, Baylor is not a worse football program than ISU. I wish it were the case, but it's not.

But, I'm glad he did this now, so we have an extra scholly to use. It would be worse if he signed on with us, and then quit the team a week after getting here.

Now it's a matter of what we do with his scholly? Using ISU logic... we lost another defensive recruit, so I'm sure we'll go out and grab another WR!!:jimlad:

Seriously though, it sounds like he probably didn't like the cold weather, and if that's the case... he's too weak to be a football player in my mind. In any case, he didn't honor his commitment to Rhoads, so I'm sure Rhoads doesn't want him any longer anyway.
