You seriously sound like you don't have a clue what you're talking about. I'm guessing you are a college student or don't know what it's like with job offers out in the real world. It's the beginning of Prohm's second month on the job so cool your jets. You and other's need to cool your jets and believe in him. Prohm isn't horrible and will make a splash within the next month or two by signing a good recruit that will make an impact.

like I said, I think I'm one of a few people who think this. No big deal. But in the real world people that are wealthy can and do leave a job before securing another one. I think Fred should hVe done that.

You don't remember what you thought about Kane at the time of his recruitment? Let me remind you.

true. But I think everyone knows that they were going to fire thibs. And hire Fred.

Fred knew he was gone, told recruits that, and was apparently upfront with his players. Quitting at the time of the surgery would have helped whoever replaced him. And would have helped Iowa state. I wish he would have done that.

It's been explained 10000000 times that Fred couldn't have quit earlier. Maybe a few days but that's it.

Living here in Northwest Louisiana, I've attended a few LaTech home games last season and I've seen Xavian play. He's a long, lean and very athletic 2 that has a good handle and is more of a slasher than a perimeter sharpshooter. He was going to be the starting 2 this year if Coach White had stayed. I'm surprised LaTech allowed him to speak to Ala. and Miss. St. considering their initial non-release/contact school list. IMHO, his talent, and potential, is Big 12 worthy. Family is obviously a big deal to him and the Clones would provide that to him at Focus-city.

Whoa Thomasrickj, you're telling me you don't have the instant gratifying expectations these other guys carry?? I gotta have it now, better see results now type? Some of them need more stuff to do if they are criticizing and stressing over recruitment in the 2nd month of a guys job.

Here nor there
There was no good way to leave for Fred. It's unreasonable to quit your job for an offer that may or may not come. It is what it is. It sucks and it definitely hurt recruiting, but it was inevitable at some point.

Fred wasn't doing his job though. Pretty reasonable to say Fred ****ed over the program when he was not able or willing to do his job and was potentially interviewing for other jobs. Chizik had more integrity.

It's a part of the business. We always knew Fred was likely going to leave for the NBA so this wasn't a surprise.

Fred resurrected our program from the dead. He may have damaged recruiting a little on his way out, but we're still in a lot better shape then when he got here.
