There are 3-4 people that are either idiots or trolls. We all know who they are and they know who they are. I enjoy differing opinions but stupid is kind of annoying. God bless the smart people on here. I have to remind myself that there are many.

You don't remember what you thought about Kane at the time of his recruitment? Let me remind you.

Caught wind that hawkeyenation.com is in a frenzy over our desire for this kid. Freshman 3 star recruit that averaged nearly 7 points a game that'll have a year to sit and develop and mature physically. Guy had some sportscenter top 10 dunks. Meanwhile their 3 star prized recruit from last year Dom Uhl averaged a whopping 2 ppg on 18% from three and a eye opening 52% from the charity stripe. Guy is set to be the leader of their squad in 2016-2017 (along with Petey Jok - blue chip prospect in the 7th grade) and likely their 6th man this year. Not to mention looked like he was going to crap his drawers anytime he touched the floor. They're in solid shape over there though. Shaking in my boots.

Is Small the lead recruiter for him? Would be awesome great to start getting players from the South this early.

Also, Xavian would fill the last scholarship spot if Giorgos was to come back right?

Yes, that's it if GT comes back and we land Stapleton

I'm guessing he doesn't end up here but the more I look at him the more I wish he would. Could really develop into a solid player with his athleticism.

Louisiana Tech transfer Xavian Stapleton will visit Mississippi State on Friday, source told @CBSSports. Recently visited Alabama + Iowa St.

Saw this too. Not out of it, but definitely think our chances went down without a commitment prior to leaving campus.

I'm not too impressed with what I've seen just looking at his recruiting rankings, offers, stats at La Tech, etc.

I'm hoping this isn't the kind of recruit Prohm thinks you go after at a Big 12 program like Iowa State. Now, I admit I could be completely wrong on this kid because I don't know the story behind him at all. He just seems like a La Tech level player to me, and not a Big 12 level player, that's all.

Ask Hornacek if he knows any decent players out of La Tech.

true. But I think everyone knows that they were going to fire thibs. And hire Fred.

Fred knew he was gone, told recruits that, and was apparently upfront with his players. Quitting at the time of the surgery would have helped whoever replaced him. And would have helped Iowa state. I wish he would have done that.
. Imagine the insurance implications of quitting a job right before heart surgery. No one in their right mind is doing that.

Thought his school was boycotting him from Alabama and Miss schools plus SEC.

Lol I think Fred would be ok. He made $10.4 million in the NBA and made around another $10 million at ISU.

A lot of guys would be OK if they made less, that doesn't mean they will do it.

I'm just saying, it's ******** that insurance would be a large factor in this situation. Like either the Bulls or ISU wouldn't make it work either way. And if he needed to, he could dip into that $20 mill.

Also I said Bulls, I meant in the NBA as a player.

BTW, did you see TJ got a raise? You holding up ok after that news?

Wow, I see another thread has turned into a bash Clonedude fest. I should start a blog or something? Only Donald Trump gets more negative attention than me it seems.

Back in the day, it appears I posted that I wasn't sure if Kane would turn out to be a good Big 12 player or not? And now I posted that Stapleton didn't appear to be the level of player we're used to getting (at least on paper), but I did say I fully trusted Prohm's judgement on him and admitted I don't know anything compared to someone like Prohm.

I guess that deserved being ridiculed? No biggie, I got the very same treatment when I told people that David Irving wouldn't be going to the NFL after his sophomore season when we got a commitment from him, like some on here were saying he would.

I openly admit that I'm wrong on some guys and right about others. Aren't we all? I guess not. Some on here think you're not an ISU fan if you don't drool over every single recruit.

Don't worry, this is normally the part Bodeclone comes flying in with something stupid. You can slip out the back door then.

He never claimed Fred wouldn't be OK.

I swear that some people think because somebody has a lot of money that they should be just fine with pi$$ing tons of it away.

You think?
One could just as easily claim some are fine with him not doing his doing his job. Money lost either way.
