I hear ya, but I think that ship has passed- much different team than in Dec. Not a hawk apologist by any means, but other than a few mismatch lateral cover weaknesses, their length, press and other quick guards are starting to defend. Plus they can risk fouling cuz they can play 11 guys. Ever notice how Keegan Murray NEVER gets in foul trouble? Somehow they are able to keep him out of covering multiple good players.
Meanwhile, back to the original topic, I would prefer to play a team that has as much trouble scoring as us. Will there be any of those in the tournament?
Maybe. All I know if we piss pounded them head-to-head so we've seen that matchup and how it went. The Big 12 is just a different animal and a big reason why people were predicting a 8-10 or 9-9 conference record before conference play started.

NCAA typically likes to reward teams that beat good teams, Memphis and Creighton and Iowa getting hot towards the end of the year certainly helps our resume's shine a bit.

I’m going to venture to guess, if we get in it’ll be one of those play-in games. Indiana being a potential opponent. Richmond stole a bid. Not good for our cause.
There is a 0% percent chance that we'll be in a play-in game.

Guys, seriously, stop with this. We are solidly, lead-pipe cinch in.

Grab a beer, relax and watch the selection show to see where we'll be playing...

I’ll admit, and there has to be a small degree of uncertainty from others. This is one of the few times in recent history where we’ve squarely been on the bubble. So for the record, I’m on the fence that will get an invite.
We're not on the bubble at all. After the K-State debacle a couple of weeks ago, yes, we were on the bubble. Not now though. We're a lock to get in.

Speaking of a different animal.... I swear there has been at least a dozen fouls in this Iowa/Purdue game that would have never EVER been called in a big 12 game. And that's just in the second half. Man, freedom of movement must be nice.

Just finished my final Selection Sunday bracketology projection.

I have ISU as a 9 playing North Carolina in Gonzaga's pod in Portland. Went back and forth on Rutgers vs. Oklahoma as my final team in for a good half hour. No idea how the committee will or can decide between those two and Michigan/Xavier. So close between the 4. Would not be shocked if Wyoming or San Francisco are the surprise snub left out.

I want to fall to an 11 seed and avoid 1 or 2 seed in the second round. I think we beat a lot of 6 seeds.
