Funny that Cordarrelle Patterson didn't do **** with Minny (except return kicks), and yet the Pats have found him pretty useful in their backfield.
Patterson has 162 yards and 1 TD on the ground to go along with 244 receiving and 3 TDs.
That's not exactly lighting the world on fire, and it's right around the same yardage he had his last year in Minnesota.
Patterson is an intriguing player because of his potential, but New England hasn't exactly unlocked that potential much more than any other team was able to.

Slightly off topic, have you ever woke up in a strange bed still drunk, unable to find the restroom and convinced yourself taking a dump in a pillow case is a good idea??? Yeah, me neither.

“strange bed”? No, not a strange one....

I'm still convinced it'll be him or Phillip Dorsett with an random, absolutely monster postseason game to lift the goddamn Pats to another Super Bowl.

I know everyone is in a rush to break out the shovels and bury New England, but I know better. I'll believe it when Brady is watching the playoffs from home and Belichick has retreated to his secret lair to plot for next season.

It's definitely possible, but Belichick has a reputation for being able to turn trash into treasure with castoff players, and the narrative was building for Patterson, earlier this year as being another New England success story. But the stats don't really bear that out yet. It certainly could change, but so far he's given pretty much the same performance as he has at his previous career stops.

Their HC said yesterday that Rodgers will play. Didn't say how much.

Yeah, I don't know. Vegas has the Jets favored by 2.5 against the Pack this weekend. I can't believe Green Bay would be dogs in that game if they were planning on playing Rodgers.

The sad thing about Treadwell is he might be the most successful 1st round receiver from that year. Coleman was a huge bust, Doctson hasn't done anything. Fuller has been solid, but can't stay on the field.

He has less career yards and TDs than every one of those other guys. I'd say he's the least successful 1st round receiver from that year.

Really glad for Lazard. Hope he tears it up and is a good ambassador for The ISU. Wish he wasn't at GB though.

Rodgers practiced today. Doubt he'd be practicing if he wasn't playing. And since there's absolutely no value to the game for them, it's not like they're involved in some cloak and dagger crap.

The line has been weird from the start. Opened at Green Bay -3, then the Rodgers talk started and suddenly it was New York -1.5. Then the line totally disappeared. I haven't looked recently, but it may fluctuate until game time.

Weird. I mean, I know the Jets aren't all that good and the Packers are down this year, but it just looked like an odd line.

I've heard Rodgers wants to play but I don't see any upside for the organization given the money they have invested in him. Put him on the shelf and look to next year.

Man I should've been an NFL player

I've always struggled with NBA or NFL just due worry about the wear and tear.

It's their loss that neither league looks for average size and way below average skillset.

I could see it like a preseason at the end of the season. See if some of these guys can roll with Rodgers, but only put him out there for maybe a half.

...and Lazard wasn't even drafted. Treadwell might be a bust but he's spent time on an NFL team. Lazard has done exactly nothing in the NFL. It took players on IR to get him onto a roster!

Hot take: I'll bet Treadwell is on an NFL roster somewhere next year (albeit on a prove it contract) while Lazard is still on a practice squad...at best.

Good for him. He's had his shot, and proven that he isn't currently capable of playing that position. Lazard gets a chance to prove himself now. Treadwell already did.

Could be. I get why he wants to play, but sometimes an organization should protect a player from himself. It's the end of a crappy season, they're going to be starting over with a new coach and a lot of new players anyway, and there is a boatload of money on the line.
