Pretty simple: If you boo anyone else other than Iowa, then boo us.

If you don't boo anyone else besides Iowa, then don't boo us.

Just don't treat us like you treat the Hawkeyes.

I don't know, we gave them 6 turnovers you probably wouldn't turn down, hah.

Boo or not, clap 5 times, doubt any of it means much to the players in game mode. Getting ready to brawl it out, oh no how will I manage with the fans booing me?

I need help, I realized today that I did not order tickets for the KC game, but I do remember filling out the order form complete with credit card # and ticket quantity and sending it in, but the ticket office said there is no order on their little computers. Soooo now I'm on ticketmaster online, and bending over for it, trying to figure out where ISU is sitting. Can someone give me some general seating areas in the lower deck? Thanks
Sorry about the interruption on this thread, it looked pretty active and I didnt want to start another.

Feel free to boo Ticketmaster Online.

I'll even help you out here...boooooooooo!

For those that actually (which i can't believe) think that booing an opponent is all that terrible and direspectful, please explain to the rest of us how booing is a personal attack on anyone. I don't generally boo, cause I'm usually busy talking with my buddies or watching our guys, etc....I know if I was playing I'd be kind of dissappointed if no one booed me on the road.

The point isn't that we're distracting the opponent by pulling a Randy Moss (full moon), or giving them the bird, or anything like that.....we're simply letting them know that we're opposed to them for the next 3 hours and they're going to have to beat our team and our volume in order to win. That is all. Basically we're simply trying to get a mental edge on our opponent.

I don't boo...ever. Pretty much seems like the dumbest thing a guy can do. Either cheer or turn to your buddy next to you and *****. Booing or (my favorite) yelling at the refs or coaches from section F row 56 is just dumb.

I do boo the opposing team usually (nothing too profane, just a boo) and I'm somewhat split on this issue. I personally don't plan to boo Army on saturday, but I generally agree with the "either it's all ok or none of it is". While I have great respect for what these guys have chose to do, it IS just a football game. You aren't booing the United States Armed Forces, you're booing a football team. I'm not doing it out of respect for the institution, and the amount of work that these guys are putting in, but I'm not going to come down on someone else for doing it, unless they are throwing in inappropriate comments.

BOOOO!!!!! BOOOOO!!!!!!! OkaY I haven't read the previous 12 pages, but I assume it isn't worth while. I'll go with the posters who I assume have said, "I respect them" "I won't boo them" "I'll cheer the Cyclones! Go State!"

I know all of this has already been said, but these are some of the finest young Americans in the country. Some day when are armed forces are truly tested again, these men will be the ones making important decisions and trying to protect our nation. If nothing else let's also applaud them as they enter the field Saturday night.

Screw that. They are the enemy. And they are the Army, which I dislike anyway.

They are getting paid by the taxpayer to travel to Iowa and play football at the moment and not to travel to Iraq or Afghanistan and put their lives on the line. They "volunteered" to have the taxpayer pay for their education, and then to serve their country. Great. Doesn't mean I have to cheer them when they play my cyclones.

I can assure you that Army fans won't cheer our guys when they show up on their field.

If they were getting on the bus afterwards to deploy, I might cheer them then. That's only after ISU beats them mercilessly.

That, to me, is the best reason not to boo. Many players on the road get pumped up hearing the crowd boo. I like to treat our opponents with indifference.

I also find it really strange when we boo a team with which we have zero or little history. I can understand some people booing teams that you've grown to hate over the years, but booing everyone is a little over the top to me.

I boo every team that comes in, always have, always will. But I will not this week I had actually been thinking about this for a few weeks and I have way to much respect for what they do to boo them.

I guess I fall somewhere between worshiping them before the game and calling them the "enemy".

I guess I"ll go with what I do for any other "normal" team that comes in, I certainly don't understand thinking of them as "the enemy". It's a game. Nobody is trying to rape your daughter. Nobody is trying to knock down your financial pillars.

Hmm. You bring up a good point. I believe I still have the game we played at Army in 2005 on tape somewhere. Might have to dig it up and see if I can tell what kind of reaction our boys got out there.

I agree. I appreciate what they do, but it was a choice and they are getting paid. Things may be a bit different if they were forced into doing what they do, but it was a decision they made. I personally won't boo, I never do, but I don't see anything wrong with it. Also, 95% of the kids from my high school that joined the Army were guys that were the biggest ****** around and only did it because they thought it was cool that they got to shoot guns. Sorry I refuse to worship them.

Ohio State fans get a lot of crap for being the worst fans in the Big 10 and even they didn't boo Navy.

I agree. You kind of look like a deuche-bag and dumb-*** if you boo.

Booing sure didn't stop us from getting our *** kicked at home weak in, weak out last year.
