In a scenario that CMC leaves, would Luke Fickell be a guy that would give us a chance. I am flabbergasted that he hasn’t been plucked from UC. Granted his life will be better in the Big 12
Some of you guys need a serious recalibration of Iowa State's attractiveness. That's a step down for Fickell.

I don’t see it likely. Cincy is arguably in a better recruiting state. They’re elevating to a conference peer and possibly going to CFP this year. Probably similar to the Campbell to TCU “noise”

I would say yes based on the level of program he has built. Not a Paul Rhoads situation at all.

I had coach PR in mind when I asked, you are likely right. 10 years is a long time, but definitely a better foundation to make that type of investment and commitment.

Penn State is a great job, but USC is a job that you can win national championships at, better recruiting in S. California and no Ohio St. to contend with.

Its amazing the great jobs that are open right now, USC, Washington, LSU, Florida, all jobs that you can win at the highest level and most in great recruiting areas.

On the way home from work yesterday, they were listing the best jobs, and the guy, said LSU and its not even close. Every recruit in the state wants to play for them and they have won 2 national titles with below average head coaches. With their money, recruiting and facilities they should be fighting it out with Alabama for titles every year, the only thing holding them back is the head coach.

I don't see the allure of USC. It's in a city that doesn't really pay attention to it and has old facilities. Yeah it's a recruiting hotbed but most of those guys are going to Oregon and that isn't going to change anytime soon. USC is the Nebraska/Miami of the west - solid history but it's been left behind

Just here to point and laugh at an SEC blueblood? looking for coaches from the measly big12. How desperate to want coaches from such a second rate conference.

Maybe if Cincy wasn’t making a move to the Big 12, but even then it would’ve been lateral move at best.
