I say this knowing this ISU team has played it's best football all season so far while being down and almost out. Texas 2 Wins were when Kansas State was ranked in the Top 10 in the country:

2003: Kansas State (#10) 20 - Texas (#5) 24

Mack Brown may be a national championship winning head coach, but he is a terrible motivator for allowing his coordinators & players to not prepare for teams like ISU/Kansas State the same way he would for OU.

Getting down early ought not be a problem. One thing ISU has going for it now is the confidence that they can overcome mistakes and come back in the fourth quarter.

Texas has always been a mystery to me. They constantly recruit 4 and 5 star players - no way they should ever have a losing record. Perhaps Mack recruits better than he coaches. The turnover in assistants can't help.
