Monk would be a great get if the staff could pull it off. Suppose 'most' 2016 recruits won't commit until next summer at the earliest. Hope we can know how strong we stand sooner than later so it doesn't cost us another good recruit like the Vaughn waiting game did.

Running out of patience already? Some people shouldn't even look at recruiting threads.

He just began his junior season. Wait until the tournament is over before freaking out. The only reason the Vaughn thing was so bad was because he didn't make up his mind until March of his senior year and we were definite favorites before he went to Findlay (he even admitted ISU was his second choice). It's not even March of his junior season!

Duh, guys, I know he's only a junior. That's why I said most 2016's don't even get serious before next summer at the earliest. haha freaking out? Nah.... Just liking several of the staff's 2016 targets and flashing back to the Vaughn ordeal. Perhaps I worded my post poorly or too vague for y'all. "When that time comes".......I hope we can find out sooner than later unlike the waiting game that cost us then, which yeah, was like March of his senior year.

The good part is we are in on a ton of recruits in that class. At this point I feel like Bridges, Winston, and Coffey are the most likely, but a lot can change. I think we land at least one of those three. Monk would be a pretty slick pickup as well.

These guys won't even start doing official visits for at another 12-18 months.

Did you really think they built Edwards Elementary that close to the practice facility to simply educate grade school kids? When you set up your prep school basketball factory you gotta send 'em to class somewhere.

Works for me. Would love a 12 person school in Ames.
